After dropping their children off for Camp Highlight, parents have often exclaimed, "I wish I could stay for camp!" Starting in 2018, the Camp Highlight experience won't be just for kids anymore!
We are proud to introduce a new Highlight tradition: Highlight Family Camp! For a weekend in April, LGBTQ families can see experience what Highlighters have been raving about since 2011! Test your skills alongside your children as you tackle archery, the climbing wall, the hike to the peak, and other Camp Highlight activities. Learn about and use the Virtues alongside your children to lead your House to victory! It's also an excellent way to meet other LGBTQ families in the Highlight community!
Highlight Family Camp will happen at South Mountain YMCA in Wernersville, PA - just like Camp Highlight. Families will stay in cabins with up to two other families. Highlight Family Camp is perfect for both families new to Camp Highlight and those who have watched their children enjoy themselves every August!
Highlight Family Camp is open to LGBTQ parents with children up to age 18. The cost is $210 per adult, $160 per child, or $699 per family. To share a cabin with just one other family, there is an $100 surcharge. To have a cabin alone, there is an $200 surcharge.
